Stony Brook Hillel partners with a variety of national and international organizations to offer internship and fellowship opportunities. While we do not have all of these positions simultaneously, we are always looking for students interested in learning more and taking on a leadership role in our Israel community on campus!

Hasbara Fellow

Hasbara Fellowships is a leading pro-Israel campus activism organization that brings hundreds of students to Israel every year, giving them the information and tools to bring back to their campuses. After visiting Israel, the Hasbara Fellow receives support from staff and access to various campaigns, programs, speakers, and other materials and tools. At Stony Brook, the Hasbara Fellow plays a significant role in developing campus-wide Israel initiatives in partnership with other organizations and Hillel.

StandWithUs Emerson Fellow

The StandWithUs Emerson Fellowship is a prestigious one-year program that recruits, trains, educates, and inspires pro-Israel college student leaders on campuses throughout North America. They form a network of trained pro-Israel student leaders who inspire their peers and collaborate with other student groups to run effective educational events about Israel. At Stony Brook, the Emerson Fellow plays a prominent role in developing campus-wide Israel initiatives in partnership with other organizations and Hillel.

IAC Mishelanu Fellow

The IAC Mishelanu Fellow helps create and empower the Israeli/Israeli-American students on campus. They weavers and creators which bring together the community and give them a sense of home. We strive to strengthen and maintain next generation Israeli/Israeli-American identity at Stony Brook through the culture, language, heritage and strong connections to Israel.

Ronald S. Lauder Fellowship Program

Lauder Fellows make up an international network of top Jewish student leaders seeking to represent and advocate on behalf of the global Jewish community on campus. Ronald S. Lauder Fellows are driven, with interest in the field of public diplomacy, politics, communications, and other relevant fields. Fellows work to create a personalized work plan, based on issues facing the Stony Brook campus.
